This song is like the female equivalent of “Meet Virginia” by Train, except it’s better and the lyrics make sense.

The day I can listen to Adele’s ‘21’ album

livepassionatelytonight:

without:
wanting to cry
thinking of you
really feeling anything

I wil know I have survived and that it only made me more stronger.

I absolutely love Adele and her music, but...

My Friend: *listening to "To Make You Feel My Love by Adele"* "God she just writes the most beautiful songs."

Me: "Yes, she does, but this isn't her song..."

Friend: "What?!"

Me: "It's a Bob Dylan cover"

Friend: "Well, he doesn't count"

Me: "What?! How does he not count?!"

Friend: "Because Adele is a REAL singer, with a great voice"

Me: "Yes, she has a GREAT voice-but Bob Dylan is one of the best singer-songwriters of all time. Your point is invalid."

Lydia Paek - Adele(Someone Like You)

Best cover of “Someone Like You” I’ve heard yet.

I like it, but her style is kinda weird to me. I dunno if there’s a musical term for it (I’m not an expert in the field), but her voice is very…wobbly. I dunno if she’s going for a very wide vibrato, but it’s like she has some grudge against holding one note for longer than half a second. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but I have no other way of describing it.

I know you haven’t made your mind up yet
but I would never do you wrong.
I’ve known it from the moment that we met;
no doubt in my mind where you belong.
I’d go hungry, I’d go black and blue.
I’d go crawling down the avenue.
No, there’s nothing that I wouldn’t do
to make you feel my love.

I listen to this song 2-3 times a day.

I sing along to it, always just as passionate as she does.

Sometimes even crying a bit.

Every time, I hate myself a little.
