Has anyone ACTUALLY noticed any issues with their computers after viewing one of these “video viruses”?
Because I watched one a few days ago without knowing about the virus thing, and my computer is perfectly fine. Did a scan with four different antivirus/antimalware programs and came up spotless.
Everyone I’ve seen who’s freaking about having watched it accidentally hasn’t had any problems yet either. They’re all something along the lines of “nothings happened yet but im scared now omg”.
I’m by far not a software expert, but I’ve cleaned up quite a few very fucked up computers that had more diseases than a hooker with leprosy. It seems unlikely, to me, that a video that links directly to YouTube can give you a virus. There are no redirects, nothing tries to install on my computer. It just plays a YouTube video.
How, exactly, does this infect you?

I found this adorable girl on YouTube. Her name is Ann and she's Vietnamese-British.
I guess that’s how you say it? Like “Mexican-American”? Vietnamese-British? You know what I mean. She’s so cute though, and so sweet. Her videos are all random things (how to speak with a “british” accent, how to pronounce “nguyen”), but I guarantee you’ll enjoy watching them. She’s also very pretty :D
